My love: Irrelevant

Like a fading star
in an uncared corner of the sky
My love is fading
from the uncared corner of your heart.

Like a thought unheard
in the bizzare and hectic chaos
My love is unheard now
in the chaotic humdrum of your days and nights.

Like a religion losing relevance
and becoming commonplace
My love is becoming commonplace
amongst the other objects in your life.

Your life is full of things
colorful and not so dull
pink at times and orange and red
My life is an empty vase
unkempt and unsuitable
for the party of your life.

Your life has the glory
of the dreams and ambitions,
higher and glamorous.
My life has the darkness
of the shattered hopes,
bleak and woebegone.

Like the darkness of the night n the sunshine of the morning...so different but both have a beauty of their own...the best is that both compliment each other and none is complete without the other...i find a lot of similarity to this in your words !

Liked these lines:
"Your life is full of things

My life is an empty vase
unkempt and unsuitable
for the party of your life."

Nice poem.
